COMMUNITY SERVICE

Community Service

Adventist Community Services is the largest lay movement among the North American Division Membership. Its purpose is to serve in the name of Christ. Adventist Community Services meets people’s immediate needs through social services such as tutoring and mentoring programs, Youth Volunteer Corps, health screening education and assistance, inner city missions, and disaster response.

"We Leave His Mark On Each Kind Deed That We Bestow On Those In Need."

Our History: Shiloh SDA Church started its Community Ministry in the early 1940’s under the name of Shiloh Dorcas Society and is the oldest Adventist Community Center in New England.  Dedicated, diligent, faithful Christian women worked to meet the needs of Springfield residents, especially victims or various disasters.
